To
better understand the ‘ecology’ of an organisation we use a
unique set of diagnostic tools, designed to take a snapshot of the health
of any system. Using this diagnosis as a starting point, we then make a
series of interventions to support organisations in authentically experiencing
the generative power of human relationship as the basis of transforming
their performance.
These
interventions are tailor made to meet the unique requirements of each client,
on a case by case basis. However, there are a number of fundamental principles
that always get applied.
Using this as a foundation, a typical programme might unfold as follows:
Setting the scene.
Over the phone with the team leader, the team is identified and contact
details and team roles are clarified. The big challenge as seen through
the eyes of the team leader is identified.
Intervention
1. Each team member is contacted via
email and sent an online link to complete a team diagnostic questionnaire.
This assesses how effective the team is in creating the environment for
sustainable high performance. It is the backbone of our work and uniquely
identifies what we help your team master as it moves forward.
Intervention
2. The results of the questionnaire
are formulated and presented as a “snapshot” of the health of
the team at the time of the intervention beginning. This is presented as
a team offsite of 1.5 or 2 days. Team members are trained in how to improve
performance through drivers of productivity and positivity, in relation
to your real business goals.
Intervention
3. After approximately 2 months we
meet again for a further 1.5 days. Again focused on enhancing your team’s
performance against real business goals, this intervention is designed to
“course correct”. We challenge team members to be aware of what
old habits may have sabotaged the change initiatives. We focus together
on what is working and what is not. We retune and maintain the focus on
the changes you and the team can clearly see they need to make to transform
good performance into great.
Intervention
4. The final team training event,
again of 1.5 or 2 days, 2 months later. A final powerful combination of
“what we are doing together” (your critical business goal, and
its achievement) with “how we are doing this together”. We focus
on ensuring every team member is conscious of what they are learning to
develop in themselves and how to maintain the focus on continuously improving
overall team performance.
This
set of interventions has a dramatic effect on your business performance
by helping everyone in the team learn about what it takes to consciously
build healthy teams that make a difference. It is a 6 month journey complete
in itself. Many clients choose to continue the process because by Intervention
4 all the team members are enjoying the learning process and are inspired
by the impact.
They
can clearly see that what they are learning together has a direct and rewarding
impact on their team and individual performance. When we are complete, all
team members leave with skills they can use in any team they join, to continuously
enhance their results and the performance of everyone around them in your
business.
