The Corporate Ecology Group offer Coaching Services towards improved Leadership,
Personal Development, facilitation of Job Transition, etc…
Coaching is recognised as a leadership intervention that helps people bring
their best to work, improving performance with focus and intention. Sometimes
an organization will elect to offer coaching to one or several of its Managers/Employees
as a bonus for their development.
Often
people in Management and Leadership are left to their own devices, alone
in decision making. The culture of the business may not allow them to ask
for help from within their own system for fear of undermining the person
“in authority”. A coach can help to bridge that gap and be there
as a sparring partner, being curious in discovering what the right direction
or answers might be for this client.
Since
coaching is a very personal venture, it is important that the client finds
the right Coach for the relationship. The Corporate Ecology Group is able
to offer a variety of different styles and personalities, as well as languages,
that will fit the requirement.
- The first step is a Kick-off Session, to lay
the foundation and set a direction for the Coaching process. This lasts
approximately 2 hours. This is followed by a series of sessions that
check in on the client, which might take place 2, 3, or 4 times per
month varying in length, and could be done either by phone, or face-to-face
depending on the client’s requirements.
- Coaching is successful when the process goes
over a certain period of time (generally between 6-9 months). It is
important for the objectives to be measurable, leading to a sense of
achievement and satisfaction.
- The final step is a completion session in which
Client and Coach revisit the past period and possibly set further goals
for the client to achieve on his/her own.

- CEO of an IT start-up chose Coaching to accompany
him in his quest to become Market-leader in
a particular niche, within 2 years. Coaching was intensive in the start-up
period and continued intermittently during this time. Topics where Leadership
and Personal Development to
keep in line with the growth of the company.
Large
scale individual Coaching and Training Engagement with the Management
Body of the Logistics Subsidiary of a large scale Retail Chain. The
aim was to develop Leadership in
Communication and Conflict
management skills.
Several
months of intensive coaching of a Board of Directors of IT Company to
help them prepare a merger with one of their major competitors. This
involved Trust building, Leadership,
Negotiation skills, leading in the end to
a major company restructuring.
Upper
Manager of one of the leading companies in Manufacturing Electronic
Appliances… This Coaching focused on career change,
within the company, with major decisions in terms of new opportunities
and relocations.
